Mangley HEP

Mangley Hydro Electric Project is located on the Rongpochu Khola in the South Sikkim and Project was commissioned on July 2008. Project has two units of 1 MW each with a total capacity of 2 MW.

Project contains a Trench weir, desilting basin, 1600 m long 1 m dia Head Race Pipe, 3.5 m dia surge shaft, 914/650 mm dia penstock and a surface power house with 2 x 1000 kW horiz0ntal Francis turbine
